Hi, created a shared mailbox for the purpose ofhaving a external crm system using pop3 to connect to it. Hi Lars,This behavior is by design in Exchange 2007because POP3 and IMAP4 clients cannot use the DomainName\Username\Alias format to log on to the Exchange Server server. Yes, basically Resource mailboxes have a disabled user account so you have to use some delegated account to access resource mailboxes and in Exchange 2007 when you access any mailbox with POP3/IMAP through delegated account it fails as mentioned in KB article...Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
